She was the wife of Louie Bockholdt, and had been a resident of Grafton for thirty-four years. The decendent was a daughter of the late William and Ellen Jobe Worthey and was born in Jersey County on December 6 1889. She was a member of Golden Rod Camp and Royal Neighbors of America of Grafton. Surviving Mrs. Bockholdt in addition to her husband are one son Lawrence E. Reeves and one dau. Mrs Garnett Clay both of Grafton one step-son Howard Bockholdt and a step-dau. Mrs. Opal Hancock both of Alton eight grandchildren two great grandchidren; two brothers Chester Worthey of Alton and Charles Wm. Worthey of New York City and one sister Mrs Annie Godfrey of Grafton. Funeral services were held at the Assembly of God Church in Grafton, Tuesday aftern! oon December 11 at two o'clock Rev Curtis R. Marshall officiated and intement was in Valhalla Memorial park. Rev Marshall was assisted by his father Rev, Curtis W. Marshall of Pittsfield. Elsie Whalen and Marie Brann of Hartforn were vocalists and their accompainiment was played by Mrs. Opal Young also of Harford. Pallbearers were William Cunningham, Arthur Pressley, Charles Gose, James Wormack, Thomas Womack, Ray Myers. The floral tributes were cared for by Mrs Ewin Walthers, Rosemary Cates, Mrs. Romie Womack and Mrs. Ray Myers.Rose is d/o William Worthey and Alethea Ellen Jobe gd/o James Jobe and Garah Gregory gr gd/o Abraham Jobe and Margaret Yewes gr gr gd/o Enoch Job(e) Jr. and Lucretia ?
