However although I have the connections back to the early 1100s and some earlier, the HANCOCKS HAVE BEEN MORE FUN ! Have 2 different lineages, one Bob Hopkins is working on and the other no one wants to work on; that one is Isham Hancock probably from Rockingham NC rather than Georgia regardless of what the census says. It runs all over Europe, and includes the Czars - Romanov Family of Russia who were cousins of King George VI. It is becoming quite a history lesson.
