Married Ann Abbott (not too sure if it is Abbott, references refer to Ann) about 1755 in Culpepper Co, Va. They moved to Washington Co, Va in 1770 and were driven out 1771 by the threat of indians, I haven't been able to find if they returned. Although his son Benjamin enlisted in the in the service from Washington Co, Va in 1776. Children: Benjamin A.
