Mary JAMES SEARS (Sears was her first husband) was not the son of William m. Sarah. William was the son of James Hancock of Jones Co., NC as listed in his bible. William who m. Sarah may have been the son of Hector, but I am not the Hector researcher, so I could be wrong on the latter. Julia French Wood
