Hi ya'll, Very interesting theory . I notice, however, that both of you have neglected to factor in the very close relationship between Robert Hancock b abt 1719 who left an Inventory record Mar 1760 Brunswick Co will (WB 3, page 309) as well as numerous Surry/Sussex Co VA land records. Many of these records prominently feature Clement Hancock (d 1758; h/o Antheny). The land records suggest a very close relationship between Robert and Clement...either as brothers or with Robert being a son from a previous marriage. These land records were arduously typed up for the list (by me) from my Aunt's research and reside in the Archives. I would be interested in hearing your view after you have had an opportunity to consider that material. Robert's wife was Elizabeth Doby, by the way. ~malinda > > > > > HANSER5@aol.com wrote: > > > > > Bill Felkner: > > > > > > Great work!
