Elizabeth, Sarah, Milly, Wilson, John, Mary, Nancy and Rebecca. Sarah Gwem Hancock married William Rains 2 Mar 1809 and he died 1832/34. They had children -- Keziah, Benjamin, Rhoades, Comfort. Newman, Margaret and Amelia. Sarah and Major were rather old when married in1835. In 1840 Census "Harman" Hancock had Comfort age 21, Margaret age 18, "Amy" age 10 and Newman age 17 living in their home. All of Major's children were married by 1835 when Major % Sarah married so Major ("Harman") just moved in Sarah's house? If this is what happened, then all children of both families and "Harmon's" appearance and disappeance, etc are explained.
