John (at least) is a son of Major Hancock and did marry Frances Farrer. It is not known however that Major is a son of Benjamin and the linage of Benjamin is unknown. The Historical Society of Christian Co can provide the name(s) of the authors. They should also be made aware of the lack of proof and mention that fact when the article is updated. BobHop
