Stephen Kavanaugh Hancock's parents were Robert Hancock and Jaley Kavanaugh respectively. Robert's parents were Stephen Hancock and Catherine Merchant, who migrated from VA to Ft. Boonsborough, KY in 1777. From there they went to Rutherford county KY around 1790, and then on to Missouri in 1820. I have plenty of detail on the aforementioned.
