Hi Rena, I also go through Frances Farrar, and John Hancock. However, it has been proved that Nicolas Farrar, was not one of the ancestors of the Farrars of Virginia. So your statement "Frances Farrar, daughter of Perrin Farrar and Sally Lacy. Ancestors have been traced back to 1546 when Nicholas Farrar was born in France, and later left France for England, married Mary Wodenwoth " although correct, is not the right line. It was proved by Alvahn Holmes, that Nicholas did have a son William Farrar, but he died in a ship wreck off of Bermuda. The other William Farrar, a cousin of the other William, was also a lawyer, which caused some confusion. His father was John Farrar. Alvahn Holmes managed to prove this, and it was agreed to be correct, so the College of Arms in London, England also accepted it. I have the Farrar line almost complete. If anyone wants to compare notes, I would be more than willing to share. Don't want to start a controversy, but getting the lines straight can be a rigorous task. Ardath
Is the rest of it correct? I am just typing in bio's, it is up to the people working on the lines to recheck everything. I know my own line has to have some things wrong. I guess whoever put the bio in the book must have errored also. I will keep putting them online as they are requested and let yall pick the truth out of them. That's how we get it right.
