Bill, I am a descendant from the Shadrack "Black Shade" Hancock(a.k.a. Uncle or Grandpa Joe). Shadracks daughter Magaret Amelia Hancock married Mitchel Jones. Mitchel and Margaret Hancock Jones daughter Margaret Caroline "Maggie" Jones married Robert Massey McMillion Sr. They in return had 2 girls and a boy which are all still living. One of their daughters D.L. McMillion Watts Brownlow is my grandmother. L.E. Wattts ,which is the only child out of both marriages of D.L. McMillion, is my father. All of the above named (except for Shadrack and Mitchell) and including me were all born in Florida. Which in turn makes me a 5th generation Floridian and very proud to be part of this line.
