Hi List, I have a sawyer,William Hancock of Henbury, Gloucester. He was born in about 1799 & maried Amelia. He died at Redcliff, Bristol. William & Amelia had 3 children that I know of, but I am sure there are more: Mark (b. 1829), Edwin (b. 1830), Frederick (b. 1837) & James (b. 1846). Mark was my direct ancestor. He married Isabella Hannam (of Fifehead, Dorset) in 1838 & moved to Australia in 1857. Mark was also a sawyer. They had 3 sons: Frederick Mark (b. 1845), Charles Phillip (b. 1849) & George William (b. 1851). I am very keen to find others researching the same family. I am not sure what I can do next.
