These lists can be confusing when you are new, but they way it is designed is that every message goes to every member of the list. That is why you keep seeing your own message. We all keep seeing it. If you wish to direct a question to a specific person, just, begin the message with their name. If you wish the message to be private and only to that person, change the address in the send window to their address.
