I am descended from Joel's son, John Wilson Hancock---the Upton Hancock Carol refers to is Henry Upton Hancock, Joel's youngest son. I must admit I'm kinda thrilled right now----so----don't nobody throw a wrench in the works just yet, I want to enjoy the moment. Joel has been our branch of the Hancock tree's dead-end for a very long time. Anyone interested in the descendants of Joel, I have most of 'em-- well documented, too. thanks-----Alvis
