I am as far back as John Hancock b- cir 1811 VA, m- fannie Shepperd(any spellling) b- cir 1817 KY (THIS FAMILY JUST LOVES TO USE MIDDLE NAMES) there children are- Robert-b-cir 1838 Martha-b-cir 1836 James Richard 3/1839 Lucy E 1841 John C 1843 Newton H 1845 (could be Harrison) Fanny B 1847 Allen Bowen 1851 Elias tillman 3/1853 ( all are born Bedford, Trimble County, KY) I find a Lewis and Robert in Oldham county KY, in 1830, only 2 with children about John's age, yet neither prove to have him in 1820. Oldham is the only place I belive bedford KY to be before its formed in 1837. I am not at the moment able to search anywhere but online, and I am stuck on every side of my tree at 1840. I am trying to learn how, but is not easy, what am I doing wrong? Thing that gets me is some of these middle names, 'Newton' is repeated several times. 'Bowen' 'Tillman' both are surnames in Virginia. I know I'm rambling, but I am so confused!!! I've met other related to other sides of my fam, except this side, and this is the most active site I am subscribed to, befounds me. This family has been nothing but trouble since I started!
