    2. Tom- Thanks for your source and relationship. Many years ago a young genealogist "Chuck" Sherrill, worked in the Cleveland (Western Reserve) Library and we had mutual friends. He wrote and published a treatise on Jesse Corn. In this he pointed out many facts regarding Major Hancock and of course the Corns. ( Chuck is presently in charge of the Nashville library and archives for TN.) I noticed you mentioned William, son of John D? Most people say this was William L. who married Sarah Hardin. I have doubts. William L was always in the wrong place at the wrong time whenever I ran into his name. Do you have an opnion?
