Rhodham Ramey 1794 4. John b. 1770 m. Mary Feathergill 1797 5 James b. 1772 m. Rebecca Lawson 1800 6. George b. 1774 m. Nancy Allen 1802 7. Letty b. 1776 m. Elijah Ramey 1804 8. Nancy b. 1778 m. John Smith 1807 9. Elizabeth Hancock b. 1780 m. Valentine Ramey 1811 10. William Hancock b. 1782 m. Elizabeth Counts 1815. The birth dates are estimated but the marriage dates are from Shenandoah Marriage Bonds 1772-1750 by Vogt & Kethley. Any furher information would be appreciated. I show Benjamin as the father of John Hancock. I am related to Rebecca Lawson who married James Hancock. Ed Oldaker

    3. I also have a record of Mary "Polly" Hancock (dtr. of William L. Hancock and Sarah Hardin/Harding) married to Isaac Ramey/Ramsey August 04, 1813. I show that Polly and her siblings were all born in Jefferson, Kentucky. I don't have anything else about them but was struck by the similarity in the name Ramey.
