Hancock is from research by Larry and Becky Christiansen, and most of which can be found in Sketches in the life and times of Jesse Corn, Sr. 1753-1809. As I mentioned in my last note, this document can be found at http://www.intp.us/jessecorn. The table of contents for Sketches.. can also be found on this web page. I believe that you'll find a number of sections of this document of interest, as they address Major Hancock's relationship with his sister Nancy in her Pension Application during the 1840's, as well as John D.
