Thanks Bob, from what I understand there were two America Hancocks. One was an America Womack and the other was America Waller. America Waller I know married Benjamin Hancock in Louisa co Va. Feb. 23, 1821 in Louisa Co. America Waller was born about 1809 in Va. and Benjamin Hancock was born about 1799 in Va. Other Hancock's in Todd Co Ky with them were W>A> Hancock b. abt.1816, wife Sarah b. abt. 1816 in Va.--- Susan Hancock b. abt 1806 in Va. and Joseph C. Hancock b. abt. 1818 in Va. Wallers in Todd Co. were Benjamin b. abt. 1812 wife Mary b. abt. 1814---------- and T.C. Waller b. abt. 1798, wife Martha b. abt. 1802 in Va. America Womack and William Hancock, all I know about them is he died before 1860, and she was born in Va. about 1805. Their children that I am sure about are Mary E.C. Hancock b. abt.1835 and married Pleasant Wheeler in Union Co. Ky March 8, 1854, James M. Hancock b. abt 1838, and Dabney b. abt 1845. I recognized the Dabney as a connection to the surname Dabney's who married Hancocks and I'm sure there is a connection.
