Hi all, I have been reviewing some very old maps that I have come across. On a 1756 map, I found a town called Hancock at end of the Ogeechee River where it flows into the Atlantic at St. Catherine's Island, GA. Also, I found the name of a town called Hancocks in NC in 1747. It is about where Durham, NC is today. Mary
