I live in S. C. in what we call the bend of one of the swamps that Francis Marion lived in during the Rev. War. He is a hero to all of us here around the lowcountry, Francis Marion & his men. Around Awendaw, S. C. there is a forest named after him. To have a fellow Hancock named Francis Marion is an honor. Just wanted to add my nickel on the subject.
