    3. Hi, everyone, I've followed the thread regarding selling of posted information to a website (FTM). I have posted my information to World Connect at Rootsweb.com. It is stated in their policy NEVER to sell your information. It is YOURS to do with as you like. You may read the policy statement on the World Connect website. I have posted my information to World Connect for the past few years, and I am unaware of ANY breach in this policy. Also, when the GEDCOM is uploaded to the site, one can select whether or not the descendancy chart can be downloaded, and how many generations. One can also select NEVER to allow a download of any part of the GEDCOM, or if it is allowed, how many generations. I do not allow the download of my GEDCOM, and only 5 generations of the Descendancy Chart. I have cleaned my line of vital information for those living after 1900. I used my own method, but this option can also be selected when uploading the GEDCOM. The descendancy chart can be downloaded, but the information has to be manually entered into a genealogy program. Most of the information in my line is from public domain records, but the work in compiling the information is mine. I'm satisfied with the way World Connect displays my information. I am not html literate. I have the software, but so far, have not been able to figure it out, and haven't the time, currently to sit down and puzzle it out. World Connect is the easiest way I have found to submit my information. Bonnie
