My Great-Aunt just sent me an E-mail about a Henry Bell Hancock marrying an Eliza Elizabeth "Lizzie" Jeffreys, July 26, 1891, I believe in Union Co. Ky. Was Bell a common middle name during this time or is this a maiden name? I have several Hancock ancestors with the Bell in the middle Cara Bell Hancock b 1877 d 1888. (my grandfathers oldest sister), Also my great-grandfather had a sisters named Bell and Bee, and a brother names Henry. They lived in Sullivan, Indiana. Does anyone on this list have any records from Sullivan, Indiana. One of the sisters married a Whalen. Their mother was Moriah (Maria) Collins, b 1816 d 1910.
