He was probably a s/o Thomas (who died before 1698) and gave land to a son Robert. Thomas (Jr)'s wife was named Winnifred and he later married the widow of James Bond. Walter Hopkins said, in his book, that John D Hancock 172-1802 was probably a descendant of Thomas but that he had found no proof that was so.
