Yes, he's not Samuel's brother. Samuel's brother is the one who applied for and received his pension in Montgomery County. But in his pension application, he says he enlisted in Craven Co., NC. He was born in VA, moved to Rockingham Co., NC when he was a child. I have no idea why he enlisted in Craven Co., NC. ????
