    1. Re: [HANCOCK] Hancock DNA
    2. Well, my great great grandfather, Frederick William Hancock, who was born in New Bern, Craven County, NC had a brother, John Hancock, who moved to Shelby County, TN at the same time that Frederick moved to Haywood County, TN, next door. I followed John and / or his descendants for a short way and I believe they were in Searcy County, AR. Do you have an clues, like from Census records as to where they say their parents were born. You aren't giving enough details for me to be able to help. I need some dates and where they were and when. Julia In a message dated 3/14/2014 8:55:19 P.M. Meanwhile a Hancock girl married a Cruze and just to get more lost another Stone girl married a Smith. All this hotblooded activity in the area of St Joe from their farms along the Buffalo River (now a scenic river, imagine how it was back then (1870 to 90) I have worked on these pairs coming down but have yet to find the boy's line back to whereever their dad came from. Some of these descendants are email cousins even today and a goodly bunch they are. Can anyone find the line going back thru the dad, geandpa, etc? ron in CA On 3/14/2014 6:20 PM, JULIAFWOOD@aol.com wrote: > Hi Ron, No, this list is for Genealogy Research which includes DNA testing, > without which we couldn't have learned which lines were truly related.
