It's good to see this list active again. I'm sorry to hear of the losses of loved ones in our various families.  Lisa, I will keep your daughter in my thoughts & prayers. I am still searching to connect Clement Hancock of Laurens County, SC back to either North Carolina or Virginia.  Clement's widow and children left SC in the early 1800s & moved to Jackson County, TN.  Some descendants moved on to Arkansas & Texas.  I am also still working to tie a descendant who wound up in Indiana to Clement's family. I was thrilled a couple of years ago to be able to visit the sight where Clement Hancock and his fellow soldiers are buried in Laurens County, SC.  I very much appreciate the DAR erecting a marker that made it possible for me to locate where he is buried.
