Isham Harbid Hancock WAS and was born 1827 in St. Clair Co.,AL and died before his mother in Greensborough, Arkansas in 1861; If I under stand these documents correctly. This means my Isham is from one of the male Josiah “J” Hancock’s siblings and I need to be looking in Northampton, NC. Chesterfield was mentioned in one document so Leonard may be of help as well. I will try to type up the document as there seems no way to copy it. If Lisa can find it in the NC estate records, possibly she can find the backward page .
