A couple of comments and a question regarding info being posted, with links to my Chesterfield County, SC, Hancocks. I have posted this earlier; howerver, worth repeating as it seems to never stop. Anyone using the son, John of William and Tabithia Jackson Hancock as moving and dying in GA; as their link is wrong. Making short, none of William and Tabithia's children moved into nor died in GA, Their son John was born and died in SC. Also, there seems to be the same problem regarding Evan Hancock, s/o of James & Tamar Jones Hancock of Craven Co., NC. First and foremost, this line is not connected to the Chesterfield Co., SC Hancocks. DNA matches abound and its obvious these two lines are not connected. Thus my question. Growing by leaps and bounds, is the info showing this Evan Hancock with the middle initial of H. I have never seen middle initials for their sons. Second, the same info shows Evan born abt 1750 in NC and dying in Chesterfield Co., SC, in 1815. After 25+ years of connecting these Chesterfield Co., SC, Hancocks, I've never come across any evidence to even show, Evan of James & Tamar, even passed thru the county. Can anyone please show me the evidence or proof as to these two statements since they are being used quite often. Any leads or clues will be greatly appreciated. Leonard
