I went to the Genealogical.com site and found that my book is listed there. They say to order it directly from me at 726 Jura Way, Sunnyvale. Several mistakes. I had never heard of Genealogical.com and had never been there before. They did not have permission from me to list the book. I have not been at the Jura Way address for more than 6 years. The book has been out of print and unavailable for several years. The book is in nearly every Genealogical Library and in many local libraries where my line had history. I suspect that many people who bought the book would now be willing to part with it. Sorry, that's the best suggestion I have. My best to all of you. Arvil

I am trying to determine whose child this must be: Charles "Charlie" Hancock b 1861 Kentucky resided with paternal uncle and aunt, Wm. Alfred Hancock & Sarah Ann Vass Hancock, and their family in 1870 and 1880 in Fairview, Todd County, Kentucky. He was called their "nephew" in the 1880 census. I have tentatively placed him as the s/o John Graves Hancock (1820-1862) and Susan E. Hall (1825-1860), since they died young. He could be the son of John Caswell Hancock, b 1818 VA, of whom I have no other information. He does not appear to have been the s/o James Monroe...both brothers of John Graves Hancock. Seeking information on: J. Edwin Hancock, s/o John Graves Hancock (1820-1862) and Susan E. Hall (1825-1860/61), born 1849. They resided in Todd County, Kentucky. The mother may have died during childbirth in 1860/61. J. Edwin Hancock may have had a brother, Charles Hancock, b 186l Kentucky according to censuses. Charles resided with his uncle and aunt (Wm. Alfred Hancock b 1815 & Sarah "Sally" Ann Vass from Louisa Co., VA to Todd Co., KY) in 1870 & 1880. In 1880 he is recorded as nephew of Wm. Alfred Hancock. Wm. Alfred Hancock had three brothers: James Monroe Hancock b 1816; John Caswell Hancock b 1818; and John G. Hancock. They were sons of John Hancock and Susan Pettus Graves.
