    3. Betty, Thank you very much for the Harrison Hamrick Biography. I think everyone should write a biography on one or more of their Ham(b)rick ancestors and share them with us. I noted this item in the column next to a picture. Ca 1903 HARRISON HAMRICK Pioneer settler Harrison Hamrick assessor of Wyanet, is one of the oldest settlers in Bureau County, Illinois having landed at Center Grove east of Wyanet in 1841, near the county farm and has lived continuously in the same vicinity ever since, and has followed the vocation of a farmer all of these years. During this time Mr. Hamrick has not only been a good citizen, active and public-spirited, ready not only to develop the country but anxious about the public welfare at all times. Mr. Hamrick is now living retired with his daughter, three miles southeast of town, and is the present assessor of the township and has filed sic. several offices of public trust. Betty
