J R & all: I the research I have (my cousin did it), he has record of Joseph, Patrick's son listed as Hambrick. I'd need to dig out the date from the pile o' stuff; but it was about 1750. There are some SC Hambrick's that descend from Joseph #1, so maybe it was him? Or a clerk with a not so good ear? Anybody have anything else? Also - There is a Hambrick Road in Charleston WV - named for my great-uncle's property at the top of the hill.
