Hamrick age 79 years who passed away at his home south of town Monday evening after a lingering illness. Services were at the Baptist Church with Rev. Thompson, pastor of the Tuttle Church of Christ officiating and internment was made in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Chickasha. He is survived by his widow, six sons, Roy, Charley, Douglas and Russell of Verden. Lawrence of Tuttle and Robert of Chickasha and two daughters, Addie of Verden and Mrs. Lizzie Howell of Georgia. The Verden newspaper, a weekly, was missing the Sept. 14, 1934 issue. The obit did not appear in the weekly Chickasha paper.
