Hi, I am a native Texas also with relatives that fought in the Mexican War. One place to check is the individual county they were living in at the time they signed up. THe county information data is growing everyday. Of course, a lot of men came to Texas from other states just to help fight. THe State of Texas Archives in Austin is a fabulous place to research. They have the original muster rolls on everything concerning Texans. I will also check and see what records are availble locally. Genevieve >From: "MARIE S.
