    2. HAMRICK,DANIEL
    3. The West Virginia Hamricks trace to Patrick Hamrick, of Manassas, VA, born about 1689, and his wife Margaret Ingles. Most of them are descendants of his grandson Benjamin, son of Benjamin and Nancy McMillian, and his brother Joel who married a woman named Mary ________. Benjamin settled in what is now Webster County; Joel in what is now Braxton County. Patrick's origin is unproved. The leading theory is that Patrick himself came from Ireland. But there are theories about Hamricks having been in Ireland, England, Holland, Germany, France and/or Norway. dhamrick@neo.rr.com Dan Hamrick 402 23rd Street NW Canton OH 44709 Phone and fax: 330-454-2376 ---------- >From: "Cynthia Brown" <pocotwo@hotmail.com> >To: HAMRICK-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [HAMRICK-L] Patrick/George >Date: Sat, Jan 8, 2000, 8:48 PM > >The Hamricks from W.Va. my dad always said they were from German decent >which was told to him by passing down info from the ages.
