    3. This is truly a gift of a site for all of us! Wow! I located a document on my Hamrick's that I had never seen before!!! This is the first breakthru in awhile for me and it is a great document. It gives the members of the local granges, and includes both my great grandfather and mother and at least 6 of their family members: Here are the members of that new organized Grange (someone know where the grange records themselves might be?) >From the following document I found a wonderful Grange Directory: "The Patrons of Husbandry of the Pacific Coast" Ezra S. Carr 1875 Jackson Vally Grange No 234 Ione City, Amador County Organized November 18, 1874, by Harding Vanderpool, Deputy Jesse D. Hamrick, Master <-----what does Master mean? They list wrong middle initial should be C. but its my ancestor -his wife and kids are listed below Lansing J. Dooley, Sec'y Wm. H. Prouty <-----future in-law Charles S. Black James W.
