    3. I bet these HAMRIC's are related to my GGGgrandfather, John HAMRICK who is listed in Hempstead Co(next to Nevada): 1860 census--John 61 VA, Catherine 24 AL with his son John Head HAMRICK 30 SC, Elizabeth 27 TN, Amanda 7 MS, William M 4 AR, Mariah 1 AR. John Head HAMRICK, 1831-1862, is buried at Okolona Cemetary, MS, and listed in Index to Arkansas Confederate Soldiers as Pvt, Co C, 20 Ark. Inf.(He was brother to James Mat, my GGgrandfather, see below) Anyway, John Head HAMRICK was also father of James Madison HAMRIC, 1861-1948, who is buried in Union Co, MS. James Madison HAMRIC was father of 1)John, 2)Dewitt and 3)Ruth. 1)John had John Robert, Charles, and James. 2)Dewitt had Jamie D. 3)Ruth married Hansel Fair Back to my line: My GGgrandfather, James Mat HAMRIC, 1816- 1903 is buried in the same cemetary in Union Co, MS with his nephew James Madison. James Mat is listed in 1850 Tippah Co (part which became Union) MS census as HAMBRICK 27 SC, with Mary 26 SC, Mary L 8 AL, Sarah E 5 AL, Nancy E 3 AL(my Ggrandmother), and Josaphine 1 MS His father was there also as John HAMBRICK 54 VA, Rebecca 68 SC, John H 20 SC, Rebecca 19 SC, Catharine 16 AL. I found a John HAMRICK who bought land 1837-1839 in Monroe Co, AL, which might be GGGgrandfather (there's a bunch of HAMBRICK's in Madison Co, Al, but don't quite connect). Anyway, Nancy HAMRIC married Cary Willis HENRY (both buried in Union Co) who had Mat Hamric HENRY. father of my mother, Hazel T. HENRY. Any questions? Winston Ellis Bradley, Jr, MD Birmingham, AL
