John HAMRICK did NOT move to West Virginia. One of his eleven children did eventually move to West Virginia, but by the time we get that far down the generation chart all bets are off where people had moved because by then they are everywhere. My only point in the above response to that note was to point out that the Nicholas County/Webster County HAMRICK lines descend from Benjamin HAMRICK Sr, not Patrick HAMRICK Jr. But then, perhaps people don't really care.... By the way, you can probably blame me for Char's information because I believe I am the one who provided it to her, or at least a piece of it.... assuming we are talking about the same Char.
