What do you think is meant by the sentence, "Prior to this time, in 1369, he was appointed Bailiff of Tindale and had custody of the Manors of Werk and Balester. He died in 1381, seized of Kirkharle, Whalton, Barrington, Denon, Wallington, Whitchester, HAMRICK, Crookden, Sweet Hope and lands in Lyham........." It is not comprehensible to me in regard to Hamricks. But then many things in life are not comprehensible to me -- and require help. [email protected]
