    2. Bad news to go with Sarah good news kids.. I checked the "Parish Maps of the Counties of England and Wales", and there is no Chalton Parish in Northumberland County. Closest fit is a Chatton Parish in the north central part of the County. Most of the parishes were not formed until the 1600's or later, so perhaps Chalton was a Scottish parish.
