The information I posted on Daisy Belle Hamrick's death date, from Charles Dodrill's Heritage of a Pioneer, obviously is incorrect. The date, Oct. 25, 1941, was the date of the death of her first husband, Hanson Hamrick. She remarried the legendary Homer Riggleman, author of a West Virginia Mountaineer Remembers.
