Just confirming that the approximate dates re Margaret Hambrick, daughter of John Hambrick are correct. I sent an email to Steve confirming this but I'm never 100% sure my emails hit their target. Also I read on another list -in answer to a question- that it is better to post replies to the list as well as to the person that replied to the original- just in case it jogs someone else's memory or maybe helps someone else in their research. So here it is again: Frances Lawrence married John Botts in Mason Co.KY 22/4/1817. Frances was daughter of John Lawrence and Margaret Hambrick, who was the daughter of John Hambrick. This is from notes written about 1904 by my father, whose grandfather ,son of John Botts, was still living. My father was in his early 20's. So it's very likely to be accurate.
