    3. Thanks so much Darlene for this sweet message, my laptop is acting up, I got out here to my living room today, with the walker and will try to answer messages and do another bit of compilation of my book. Thanks to those who have called and written, I am feeling ok today, so sorry to sound whiny before, its just that I was supposed to be on the mainland now, getting ready for our Hamrick reunion that was supposed to be this weekend! Well, Aug will be fine, and I am real glad my neice Sarah and sister Janet will be able to attend now because it is in August, more book orders arrived, I am up to 22 now! Thanks for acknowledging the California branch of our family, it has turned into a real cousins effort at this point, SOOOOO many cousins have participated and continue to help me with this I feel VERY grateful and overjoyed, and cannot WAIT til the book pages are numbered and at the printer, its funny, I feel like this is something so worthwhile and I have all of YOU to thank for it, I can't adequately express the depths of my gratitude for the help and kindness I have received. Talk to you soon, Love and thanks, Jill ---------- : From: Darlene V. Some say it is : worse than a broken ankle but I don't see how it could be. I am so sorry you : are suffering and part of that has to be not being able to do what you want and : need to do. I can sympathize with that certainly. You are our most cheerful : leader and we are all praying for your swift recovery. : Your book is going great and you have done a wonderful job!!! What : a lucky branch of the Hamrick family "California" is!!!! : I have about a 100 letters that my Grandfather Allen Hamrick wrote : to his eldest daughter Artie while he was in the Civil War. I am still : working at my home business and am itching to get all of those translated. : Some day!!! : Yes, this too shall pass, but I sure wish it would hurry up, : don't you???? : Love and Hugs, Darlene : :
