Dear Jill, I have never had a broken leg, but did do a very bad sprain to my ankle by missing the bottom step on my way to the basement. Some say it is worse than a broken ankle but I don't see how it could be. I am so sorry you are suffering and part of that has to be not being able to do what you want and need to do. I can sympathize with that certainly. You are our most cheerful leader and we are all praying for your swift recovery. Your book is going great and you have done a wonderful job!!! What a lucky branch of the Hamrick family "California" is!!!! I have about a 100 letters that my Grandfather Allen Hamrick wrote to his eldest daughter Artie while he was in the Civil War.
