Now that we have discussed Andrew Lewis, does anyone have information on the origin of Rebecca Lewis Daughtery Dodrill, who married William "English Bill" Dodrill? I believe she originated in Bath County, VA. They were the ancestors of most, if not all, the West Virginia Dodrills. I have nothing past Rebecca and English Bill. Does it not seem strange that we keep being able to trace the women, with name changes and all, to some degree in these families but cannot definitely trace Patrick Hamrick, Col.
