McDaniel, b. 1-24-1824, d. 8-2-1913 Martin Luther McDaniel, b.9-23-1850, d. 3-14-1931 Nancy Tabitha McClung, b. 8-6-1856, d. 7-4-1922 Margaret Emma McDaniel, b. 3-20-1875, d. 7-19-1965 Henry Waltus Starnes, b. 7-28-1870, d. 2-9-1966 Ima Martha Starnes, b.8-28-1902, d. 2-28-1991 Marvin Wells Davenport, b. 5-1-1900, d. 11-18-1983 (These are my parents) As you can see, there is a Scotch Irish connection, too. My Starnes line originated in Germany as Staring. There is also a Starnes line that originated in Britain, and some ancestors from each line bear the same given names which brings about some confusion.
