    3. Hi Pat~ I don't have any intention to unsub you or anyone from this list unless it is warranted. And someone has to be in charge, this is not a list run by a committee. I am brave enough to take the heat and dish the consequences. Hamrick-ness. I said in my original message that Steven encouraged people to make their own discoveries, as I knew he was tired of always giving out data and getting little thanks. It is a shame we have lost him and that he took offense at remarks about his demeanor, which any one would. The amount of Hamrick info he has is impressive and he should of been regarded as an expert, instead of being regarded as he was, unfairly. People should look up their own histories, he should never of been expected to give give give and he was. If some one had a problem with how Steven had responded to them they could of told ME about it, and I would of talked to him about it, then he would of been gone because of me. BUT, that is not what happened. I don't wish to stifle anyone's need to comment on this latest list controversy, so comment away if you need to~ Jill O'Neall Ching ps I do not talk behind others' backs so I am ccing Steven with this message. ---------- : From: [email protected] : To: [email protected] : Subject: Re: [HAMRICK-L] Flames : Date: Friday, October 09, 1998 2:42 AM : : Dear Jill, : : The first time I saw the message below is when you sent it to the list. : : And while I regret that Steven Bridges has unsubscribed, Harley was correct : that often Steven talked down to the rest of us as though our ideas were : stupid and his guesses were the only correct ones. And if he did : unsubscribe over one individual's comment, that seems pretty weak to me. : (But, you didn't ask my opinion - and rightly so <G>. You only asked if : the message you forwarded had appeared on the list.) Incidently, he stated : that he was unsubscribing for personal reasons; why do we automatically : assume it's because he couldn't take what he dishes out? : : And if you want to unsubscribe me because of my comments, well, as you said : (rather, as I interpreted what you wrote), it's your list and you can do : what you want with it. : : Pat : [email protected] :
