Just clearing up a few posts that I'm not sure that I answered. Concerning Berrell Hampton Hambrick, it has been pretty well documented that he was born in GA. His oldest son, George B. Hambrick, was born in GA; then, the next couple of children were born in AL and the youngest in , Van Zandt, TX. George B. Hambrick was in the Civil War. If your interested can get you the info/source. George B. Hambrick married a Boynton (this family was also from the GA area and is even better documented than my Hambrick line). Would be glad to hear of any more information that has been found. Clearly, I'm having trouble with this line. Never hit such a hard brick wall in all my life!! Am I'm not the only one. Several other researchers on my side are being stumped by this group. GA is like a great black pit for my research. I have been stumped by a lot of people from this area. Again, thanks for all the info so far and please keep me posted and let me know if I can help further this line! Hi all, As short-time Hambrick researcher - I get lost - I need to know if someone can send me a list of ALL of Benjamin & Bernetta's childen and their spouses names & if any of these children are unaccounted for after CW? Thanks, Alice in CA
Just confirming that the approximate dates re Margaret Hambrick, daughter of John Hambrick are correct. I sent an email to Steve confirming this but I'm never 100% sure my emails hit their target. Also I read on another list -in answer to a question- that it is better to post replies to the list as well as to the person that replied to the original- just in case it jogs someone else's memory or maybe helps someone else in their research. So here it is again: Frances Lawrence married John Botts in Mason Co.KY 22/4/1817. Frances was daughter of John Lawrence and Margaret Hambrick, who was the daughter of John Hambrick. This is from notes written about 1904 by my father, whose grandfather ,son of John Botts, was still living. My father was in his early 20's. So it's very likely to be accurate.
I received this list from a CW researcher - seems like there were five Hambricks - all in MS 1ST CALVARY RESERVES, CO A . They were E.J. (Corporal), J.B., J. H., J.M., & Willis (1st Lieutenant) My question is where they all related? If so, to what line and could J. M be John? He sent me two more Hambricks also - H. G. was in 2nd Infantry State Troops, Co. A and J. P. in 28th Calvary, Co B At least in my research of KY - friends and relatives enlisted together - so, I am particularly interested in the 5 because my "Sabra" Hambrick supposely met her future husband, Aaron David McClellan when he went home on leave with John Hambrick. I need to find "home". Alice in CA

To all listmembers: I am Jill O'Neall Ching, I recently changed my return address to Jill C. but its me. As you know I started this list several years ago and have been the list administrator since inception, and I personally maintain websites regarding our Ham(b)rick's. I have a need right now that is non-genealogical in nature and an off topic request, but rather than burden the list with it I am asking for those that are willing to help, write to me asap.
