It was only 19 months old but had had an eventful life, having been born in Glasgow, Scotland, and crossed the Atlantic only a few months ago. The father's heart was delighted when the mother and 3 children landed safely in Thayer, and now that the baby has crossed the darker water than the sea, the poor fellow's sorrow is all the greater while the mother feels her loss among strangers in this strange land as only a mother can feel the death of her youngest child."
