Hello Listers, My name is Walter Hampson, in 1999 I started the Hampson surname list - but ill health and personal family problems overcame me. Attached to the surname board was a link to the Hampson website at RootsWeb, and as you may be aware the last update to that site was 1999. I am pleased to say that due to the fact that RootsWeb decided that all old subscribers sites would remain active, I have been able to regain access to the site and update date it. Whilst I appreciate that the site may not have any bearing on the Hampson family you are researching, I hope that it proves interesting and perhaps I may get more contacts from the USA and Canada.
