Mike Hi Mike, The Blazons! 95 program lists the blazon for Hampson thus: Argent three hemp-breaks sable [Translation for those not heraldically minded: Silver shield with three black hemp-breaks on it, in a 2 at the top and one at the bottom arrangement. The hemp-break look a bit like a large toothed hairclip sat on top of a builders' tressle!)
